Kropman Contamination Control designs, builds and validates high care areas such as operating theatres, central sterilization wards, isolating wards and compounding pharmacies for public hospitals, academic medical centers and private clinics. Fully compliant with all relevant guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
New construction, expansion and renovation
As a part of Kropman Installatietechniek, we participate in the design and construction of complete hospitals, specifically specializing in the cleanroom sections.
We also regularly design and construct separate areas, for example in the context of expansion and renovation projects.
Healthcare guidelines, VCCN guidelines and ‘Toetsingskader IGJ’
One of the biggest challenges in healthcare facility design and construction is compliance with all guidelines, which change regularly.
We ensure that your cleanrooms comply (and continue to comply) with current rules and regulations, such as the (former) WIP guidelines for infection prevention, the VCCN guidelines for contamination control, and the ‘toetsingkader IGJ (Inspectie Gezondheidszorg en Jeugd)’, the regulatory framework for public healthcare in the Netherlands.
Clear communication and careful planning
The construction, renovation or maintenance of healthcare facilities often takes place in an existing situation. This makes it important to properly coordinate all activities with users, and to avoid an excessive impact on utilities. That is why we pay a lot of attention to clear communication and plan our work carefully to minimize disruptions.
